Faith centered Army family

As we travel through our lives "the army way" we want to share it with our family and friends. All our ups and downs and tribulations. With the army nothing is ever certain, but we know with God all things are. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Poems, by Tigerlily and Daisy

Here are some Thanksgiving poems and not so Thanksgiving poems made up by Lily and Daisy. Most are about body functions which Lily and Daisy think is hilarious. So please read these as a 6 year old and I am sure you will get a laugh like we all did.

The Turkey By Tigerlily

The turkey eats and eats and eats.
Until it's belly is full.
Then it poops it,
Out through its hole.

Thanksgiving By Tigerlily

Bread, corn best of all,
The turkey on the Thanksgiving wall.
Buttered bread, corn meal,
Peeling off the oranges peels.
We won the first prize,
We are the winner,
For the best est Thanksgiving dinner!

The Poopy Turkey By Tigerlily

The turkey poops and poops and poops.
Until its belly is thin.
Then it puffs its feathers out
and poops and poops and poops again.
Then it goes to sit on its nest,
and rests and rests and rests.

Wolf lodge By Daisy

Wolfs on a hill.
Howling at the moon.
Panting all day.
Sitting down to rest
Curling up in a row.

Cats By Daisy

Cats in a cupboard.
The oven slams down.
Cats run around.
The cats take a rest.
Because that's what they do best.

The Toilet By Tigerlily

The toilet flushes
The toilet gushes.
And then when
you poop in it
And look down.
You'll see your poop
gushing in it.
Then you pee in it.

Horse lodge By Daisy

Where horses are doomed
They did not know
Where to find food
Then saw some quiet grass.
They did not know where
to find pretty blossoms.
They did find any water.

The Accident By Lily

There once was a male turkey.
Puffing up it feathers
Looking for a mate.
A mate come and rubs beaks.
Then, he poops on her.

I AM LOVING these poems. There's an interesting thread of discussion about poop. Particularly impressive rhyming!
